Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were large and comfortable, supplied with all the toiletries you may ever need; however, some had a strong smell, possibly from tobacco smoke. Overall, the rooms were quite clean with no funny smells. The service was friendly and prompt, particularly Wang and James at the Executive Plus Check-in Office. The location was decent but required a bit of a walk to reach the metro. The dining options varied, with a reasonable buffet available, but the quality wasn't particularly good. The facilities were adequate, but there were some noise issues in the lobby.
The hotel offers large and comfortable rooms with excellent amenities but can feel congested for two people compared to other Shanghai hotels. The service is fantastic with courteous and helpful staff. The location is decent, close to shopping centers and the underground railway system, but waiting for a taxi can be difficult. The dining experience is really good, especially the beautiful outdoor seating area, though local smoking can be off-putting. The facilities are well-equipped and enjoyable.
The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a wide range of toiletries provided, but a bit humid due to the old carpet. Service lacks friendliness and proper training, with minor maintenance issues. The location offers easy access to shopping centers and the subway but has a noisy lobby. The dining options are diverse but can be subpar. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement.
I found the hotel to be a mixed experience. The rooms, newly decorated and very clean, were spacious and comfortable, equipped with all essential toiletries and private lockers, but there was a noticeable foisty smell that lingered. The service, particularly from Wang and James at Executive Plus Check-in, was exceptional, reminiscent of high standards seen at Starbucks, although some staff members were not the friendliest I've encountered. The location was decent with convenient access to shopping centers, the subway, and dining options, while the dining experience fell short with mostly cold and unappetizing food options. The facilities, such as the sauna and cleanliness, were commendable but the dining area was subpar both in service etiquette and food quality.
My stay at the hotel was simply amazing. The rooms were faultless, exceeding my expectations in size and comfort, with large bathrooms equipped with all the toiletries you could ever need. The only downside was a bit of bad maintenance. The spacious, clean rooms with adequate amenities made me rebook for this weekend.
